MY FIRST NO HITTER IN STRATOMATIC!

1919 Chicago fans certainly got their money's worth at Comiskey Park.  Matt
Garza(1-0) pitched a rare no-hitter as the 2008 Tampa Bay Rays toppled the
1919 Chicago White Sox 1 to 0.
 
Garza was spectacular.  He walked 4 1919 Chicago batters.  The 2008 Tampa Bay
players and coaches started to leave Garza alone with his thoughts after the
game reached the 7th inning.  By the time the 9th inning rolled around, you
could hear a pin drop every time he went to his wind-up - and an explosion
after every out.  1919 Chicago went down quietly in the bottom of the 9th.
 
The losing pitcher was Eddie Cicotte(2-1).  He gave up only 2 hits and 2 walks
in 9 innings.  Garza was in a jubilant mood after the game.  'If I'd known I
was going to throw a no hitter I would have gotten a haircut!' he said, much
to the delight of the clubhouse gathering.
