Rockies blow out in Tampa

Sorry..took a momentary pause in Stratomatic to play some Rome Total War. Sometimes I have to do that to keep things fresh. Back to League 9. 2009 Colorado who was had a better record in 09 than 07 when they went to the World Series (in reality) was picked for this league. They took on the 2008 Tampa Bay Rays who lost to my Phillies in the WS that year.
It took me several hours to play this game. Whether it was boredom or tiredness, this game took forever. Plus updating pics and layouts, I think I started this game about 4 hrs ago. I didn't like the pic of Tropicana Field I had. For some strange reason modern match ups bore me too. FYI for future reference, If didn't post any games lately, I am probably in a Total War campaign. Anyways onto the game.

Rockies win an ho hum game against Tampa Bay 5-0. Jorge De La Rosa dominated striking out Rays @ Tropicana Field. De La Rosa(1-0) was on top of his game. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 3 hits and no walks in 7 and 2/3 innings. Colorado ended up with 9 hits for the game while Tampa Bay had 5. Ian Stewart homered for the Rockies. OK..maybe it wasn't so ho hum..De La Rosa had 11 K's. Bunch of webgems too.
