Ventura lifts Sox over Astros
Robin Ventura launched a bottom of the 9th homer as the 1993 White Sox beat the 1998 Houston Astros in a battle of the 90's. Score was tied for most of the game. Also, Ron Karkovice connected with a homer for the White Sox who won a crazy one at Comiskey Park II over the Astros, 7 to 4. Chicago had the game winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 3 runs utilizing 2 base hits. Roberto Hernandez led off and he ripped a base-knock.
